I am trying something new this year. I am adding pictures to a Walgreens album and listed the link on the blog for you all to view. This way you can order copies if you want to.

Wow, what a day...couldn't have asked for better weather. I had a lot of fun and hope you all did too.

We had a total of 174 participants this year!! up 50 people from last year :)

Our first annual post race party was a success! If you didn't make it to the party this year then we hope you can come next year. We are taking notes of the event from this year and have a great vision of what to do for next year to make the race even better.

I welcome any comments you may have regarding the day so please feel free to email me.

Race Director - Dayton Fiesta Run

Dayton Fiesta Run - 2009

****1st annual after race party***

After race party at Seufert Winery (1 block from start, 10:00am - 3:00pm)
All participants age 21 and older receive 1 complimentary serving
of beer or wine (remember to bring ID).

Food (Rib Slayer BBQ), Micro Brews (Heater Allen Brewing, Golden Valley Brewery and Pale Horse Brewing), artist booths, music by GIL REYNOLDS and DEEP BLUE (Playing from 11:30-2:30)and fun!!*****

Also, for participants of all ages, don't miss the
3rd annual Harvest Festival at the city park. Booths and entertainment all day.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top finishing male and female and ribbons three deep within age groups.

5K/10K - 11 & under 12-14 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 65-69 70-74 75-79 80+

Kids Run - 9 & under 10-13 14-17

All participants are entered to win door prizes! (must be present to win)
